hat is Fascia?

Fascia is a dense connective tissue that covers your entire body from head to toe. But there are also many different layers of fascia within us that lend internal strength and support to our bodies. In fact, it's the fascia that's responsible for where things align within you. So, if your vertebrae or hips or nasal septum is out of alignment for example, it's the soft tissue, the fascia and the muscles that are tugging things out of place. Releasing the restrictions that pull that area out of its proper placement will allow your body the freedom to realign. Now, correcting your muscle compensations is also key to maintaining proper alignment long term, that's why it's a core component of my Become Pain Free Program.

Fascia in Every Cell

Fascia surrounds every muscle, bone, organ and even every cell in your body. So healthy fascia is extremely important for everything from proper mobility, strength & flexibility to healthy bones, organs & glands and you absolutely must have healthy fascia to be pain free.

Restrictions in your fascia can have a tensile strength of up to 2,000 pounds of pressure per square inch, making them a major source of pain and issues in your body. Unseen even in X-rays, CAT scans and MRIs, restrictions in your fascia are completely invisible and yet they are responsible for so many of the problems in your body and your mind. Releasing your fascia can bring incredible relief and help you regain or maintain good physical and mental health.

Healthy Fascia for Body & Mind

Because research on fascia is just taking off in the last decade or so most people are not fully aware of fascia’s incredible influence on our bodies and our minds. Pain, disease, lack of mobility, allergies are just a few of the many signs of fascial restrictions. Mental and emotional issues, like depression, anxiety, short temper, addictions, these also have their roots in your fascia. Instead of just drugging and putting off issues like pain or depression, why not address the fascia that's actually causing the issues and do some good healing? I help all my clients learn to deeply release their own fascia and relieve their own pain for long term health and wellbeing.

If you'd like to work with me on your pain relief and healing, you can always find me on my website bodyfirstmfr.com. I'm happy to help you learn to take good care of your fascia and become pain free!
